Department of Oral Pathology & Microbiology at Govt College of Dentistry, Indore has a well established Haematological, Histopathological, Special stain, Cytology and Immunohistochemistry equipped Laboratory and a parallel running Clinical OPD which deals primarily with Screening and Confirmatory diagnosis of Oral Potentially Malignant Disorders and Oral Cancer cases.

An Integrated Counselling and Training Centre for HIV Testing registered under NACO is working on daily basis in the department. Besides, patients are screened for Hepatitis Antigen.
